Forsaken Easter Egg Guide – COD B.O. Cold War

Forsaken Easter Egg Cover

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War’s latest DLC was released earlier this morning. With it came Season Six, which includes a new Zombies map, Battle Pass, and a bunch of bug fixes. For most Call of Duty Zombies players, the true excitement comes with the release of the new Zombies map Forsaken. October is typically when the final DLC releases for any Call of Duty, so Forsaken will most likely be Cold War‘s last zombie’s map. With a new map comes a new Easter Egg. In this guide, we will walk you through the Forsaken Easter Egg steps.

Before jumping in want to thank NoahJ456 and MrRoflWaffles for all their hard work solving the Forsaken Easter Egg and creating an easy-to-follow YouTube video Guide. Now let’s jump into the Forsaken Easter Egg Guide.

Go Through the Teleporters

As soon as you spawn into the game, immediately sprint over to the teleport. When there activate it triggering a 30s timer; while the timer is going, the rounds will continue to progress even if you aren’t killing Zombies. Once the 30 seconds are up, use the teleporter to get to town. Once teleported, you will have time to do everything you need without the rounds progressing. Opening up the doors to perks can be helpful.

Gather the Four Parts

Once doors are open, you will need to take the other teleporter to Anytown West. Once in Anytown West, you will need to collect four parts.

  • The first part can be found in the video store. The part can be found in the room to the right of Mulekick either on the boxes or shelves.
  • The second part can be found in the Cinema. Check the mannequin on the left, by the snack stand in the center, or on the empty bench on the right-hand side.
  • Next head to the TV Store. Check the left-hand side of the store to the right of the AUG between two TVs. If not there, look to the right at the metal TV stand or to the right side of the store on a shelf between two TVs.
  • Finally, head to Burger Town. First, check under the US flag, then under the COLA machine, or the final possible spawn is in the Glass food display case.

Once you have all four parts, you can repair the damaged teleporter and teleport.

Forsaken Easter Egg Abomination

Kill the Abomination & Turn on Pack-a-Punch

Once you take the repaired teleporter, you will need to run through the hallway in the new area to The Amplifier room. Once at The Amplifier room, head to the new teleporter where an Abomination will spawn. Takedown the abomination by hitting its weak spots (glowing purple heads). Go through the now freed teleporter to the Observation Tower and hit the red button. By hitting the red button, you will turn Pack-a-Punch on. Once back a punch is on, run over to the observation window and hit the second red button. This will trigger a cutscene.

3 Ethereum Crystals

Getting the Chrysalax

Once the cutscene is done, you will spawn back into the map. Once two rounds have passed, three Ethereum crystals will spawn into the map. In order to complete this step, you will need the Chrysalax. You can get the ax through a variety of means so choose wisely. The first and most unreliable option is the Mystery Box since it’s not rare. The second option is the tried and true Trials machine option; it is located near the Pack-a-Punch machine. The third is a special quest that helps you build the Chrysalax. Finally, the 4th is the Der Eisendra Arcade game.

Forsaken Easter Egg Ax

Building the Neutraliser

Make sure to grab some armor, weapon upgrades, and some perks and jump through a teleporter to head over to the Fuel Processing center. Once at the Fuel Processing center, activate the four fuel tanks; if playing in co-op, you will need to activate them at the same time. Once activated, a lockdown phase will begin. Kill zombies around the tanks to start filling them up. Once the red fluid is all the way up on all four tanks, the lockdown will end and a part will spawn in the center of the four tanks.

For the second part, you will need multiple Abominations (Margwas). Bring the Abominations to the Bunker Entrance Board Room. Get the Abomination to charge you to knock down the metal piece that looks similar to a space shuttle cone (Housing Unit).

The third part requires players to use a regular weapon with Dead Wire equipped. With Dead Wire equipped, head to the arcade and shock a zombie next to the Grand Prix arcade machine. Shocking the zombie will turn on the machine spawning a special RCXD car. The car can be spawned for 2000 points. Spawn the RCXD and drive it to the TV Store. Use the energy emitting from the car to knock off the metal vent cover behind the counter. With the cover off, drive through the vent to the metal shelving unit. Jump and explode the RCXD to knock over the shelf, creating a hole in the TV Store. That whole will give you access to the third and final part, The Monitoring Device.

Crystal Locations and How to Destroy

Once you have the Chrysalax and Neutraliser, it is time to destroy the Ethereum Crystals. The first crystal can be found in the Amplifier (Particle Accelerator), the second is in spawn, and the third is on top of Storage Zone 5’s rooftop. In order to get back to spawn, jump through the teleporter near juggernaut.

At each crystal, there will be orbs circling the crystal. Destroy these orbs and you will then have the ability to smash the crystal. Smashing the crystal will allow the player to pick up a crystal shard. This shard will go into your inventory like a tactical grenade. You will then need to find an Abomination. Once you find an Abomination, throw the crystal shard into one of its open mouths. If you miss, you can head back to the smashed crystal site and pick it back up. If the Abomination eats it, its tail will glow orange. Once its tail is glowing, take down the Abomination. The slain Abomination will drop a Catalyzed Crystal Shard.

Repeat this step for the other two crystals and Abominations. Once all three are complete, you will hear a voice line stating that the Neutraliser can be built. Once the Neutraliser is built, you will be heading into a boss fight so prepare your inventory before the final battle. The Chrysalax is one of the best weapons for the boss fight.

Boss Fight

Once you build and activate the Neutraliser, the boss fight will begin. Escort the Neutraliser down the street. Occasionally it will run out of fuel, so smash orange crystals to refuel it. Once the Neutraliser stops, a Pack-a-Punch machine will spawn as well as an armor station and perk machine. Once ready open up the door in front of you.

The door will open and the Forsaken boss will spawn. Look for Maxis to spawn a Ring of Fire circle. By killing zombies in the ring, you will charge Maxis. Once she is full, she will charge up one of the big guns on the left or right-hand sides of the arena. With both of the guns activated, start to take off the Forsaken’s armor. Once the armor is knocked off, head over to one of the guns and shoot at the Forsaken’s weak spots. If you do not deal enough damage, the Forsaken will heal itself. If you mess up you can recharge Maxis Essence level.

With both weak spots destroyed a mini cutscene will be triggered. Once you have returned, repeat the previous steps avoiding the Forsaken’s new attacks. Once the Forsaken says, “I’m done playing games”, you’ve completed the Forsaken Easter Egg.

Afterthoughts

The Black Ops Cold War Zombies Easter Eggs have been some of the easiest in the franchise’s history. The ending cutscene of the Forsaken Easter Egg was rather satisfying and has answered some players’ questions while creating new ones. Did this Forsaken Easter Egg guide help you? What did you think of the final cutscene? Also did the town where the Forsaken was kept look similar to Hill Valley from Back to the Future?
